Description

Shatranj al-Falakiya ("Celestial Chess") is a game that was played in medieval southwest Asia. It was played on a round board, in which the pieces represented the planets, sun, and moon traveling through the zodiac signs.

Rules

Round board. Twelve squares, the board is divided in half. Seven pieces of different colors move in agreement with the movement of the planets, sun, and moon.
